About Me
Hi friends! My name is Jessica and I am the founder and creator of Misty Jade. I love coffee, sunsets on the lake, holiday decor, reading, fashion, bonfires, spending time with Jesus, my two kiddos, and my handsome hubby! I was born in Florida but moved to Michigan at a very young age. I was raised on the west side of the state with my six siblings. When I was 18, I went on a mission trip to the D.R. of Congo. I ended up falling in love with my now hubby who was on the trip as well. I moved to the Detroit area about a year later and that's where we are now. I am also a massage therapist and have been practicing for 11 years. Most days you will find me spending time with my kiddos, dreaming up new ideas for Misty Jade, or spending time outside as a family.
Our Why
I have always had such a creative brain and dreamed of owning and selling my own creations one day. The other side of me has always had such a love for kids and wanting to help. Becoming a mom just grew that passion even more and I started dreaming big of what I could do to make a greater impact. My heart's desire is that this shop not only helps me provide for my family, but also will be able to help so many little kiddos who need unconditional love. A percentage of every sale is donated to help this cause. I can't wait for what more is to come in the future. Making an impact as a community together.
